Looking for value of my 2013 $5.00 star note. Serial number MH00001172. Great condition
What about a $1 bill 2017
F11199991F
WORTH ANYTHING?
Yes you will have to see what the condition is which can do is look up (grading US currency small notes) to get an idea of the grade and then look up on eBay under the sold binary or quads sold to see what they go for
Binary and solid 4s
Hey. I just wanted to share this 20$ note i got the other day from my bank cause i thought the serial number was cool.

Yes it is but what it is worth idk
2013 E 22122122 C , any value?
Absolutely, if you’d like, feel free to email me a photo of the obverse and reverse of the note and I can better help you determine the value of your note. Definitely keep it put away and safe. Email me at adams.jaylin0621@gmail.com with any other questions you may have.
Yes that is a (binary radar) and I believe (repeater).
Though the value depends on the condition of the bill look up on the internet (grading US currency) So you can get an idea and then eBay going to sold items and see what its value is but that is one that I would say actually send in if it’s in really good condition like maybe a very very light full down the middle and a corner fold and fairly crisp I would send it in maybe a little lower grade than that but not much but if you don’t feel like doing any of that then you can sell it raw that means ungraded

I would go to Ebay search for 6 of a kind $20 .00 notes, then top right click on filter , scroll down to show more, then scroll to Sold. That will show every note with similar digits along with date and sold amount.
Good Luck
I would think so
I was wondering if these could be worth anything. I appreciate any help.

I have a birthday note serial# 20000719 $1. I know these go for more than face value, if anyone interested plz reply..
Unfortunately my understanding is most collectors that buy them want the date year day month or month day year unless you can find somebody with that birthday that is not a collector but that might be a hard sale.
I have a 2017a $1 with the serial number F61555561F is this worth anything
I have a 20 dollar bill 2017 A star note

10 bill serial # 19555531
Any of this worth anything
Yes that is a actual bookends note although my understanding there’s not too many collectors for them but you can also sell it as a four of a kind not sure on value condition is the key look up online grading US currency to get an idea of the condition and then look up on eBay under sold items (Fancy serial number four of a kind) or (fancy serial number bookends) to see value
Hello I have a $1 serial # L 88855546 S, & F 66363038 B, plus $5 MG 01128822 E all 3 are series 2013. I was just curious if they were worth anything and if should set aside with my coins. Thanks

I have a 2013 series $5.00 bill
Serial # MK63555557B
What do you think is a reasonable price tag for it? Just curious, kinda new to me.
Thank you in advance and have a blessed day.
I have a 1$ with 2017 series and serial number F19451999B but it says it worthless
It’s worth 1$
The 19451999 note is no more than face value (aka none) to the general fancy/rare serial numbers market. Yet it could well be worth more to someone for whom the pair &/or range of years (1945-1999) is especially significant. Many possibilities exist for relevance as the beginning & ending years of something/one, e.g., an organization, conflict, regime, period of employment, famous person’s lifetime, etc.
So if you can find ways that those years matter, & the people/organizations with interest, they may consider your note special. I believe there’s a site that sells birthday serials on request; not sure if they buy but worth checking.
1945 being the end of WWII & 1999 being the end of the millennium, as year ranges go this one should have lots of connections.
It’s not worth anything but 5$
I have a star note $1 bill and it has a number on the serial that is raised a bit higher than all the other numbers. Is it worth more and is this an error? Only one is raised on just one side of the bill.
You gotta give us more to go on hun. What’s the series year what’s the serial number including the letters at front and the star at the end.
I have a $5 bill ME26262626B Series 2013 and a $20 bill D11704562B Series 1969C. I know the one is a old bill, but can someone help with insite on these please and thank you.
Hold on to that
What does matching block on a $1 bill mean? Is it worth anything?
G35109147G series 2009
Some collectors organize their collection by “blocks” as you mentioned. What that refers to is the letters you see before and after the serial number. The first represents the series, and the other represents the FRB.
After serial number G96000000F, they advance to the next suffix letter alphabetically, which would be G00000001G and so in, but still the maximum serial number is 96000000. So potentially there is 96M $1 notes with block G-G. You can read more about it here, and hopefully get a better understanding because I know I’m not the greatest at explaining things sometimes but I try anyways. Here’s a link to check out

Can anybody please tell me how to find the value of my banknote.
So to help you out with your question, When it comes to the value of a particular note there are many factors involved in the determination of a particular note value. I’ve been an active part of the numismatic community for years and love to help my fellow community. Just like I came across your post today, other numismatiists can stumble across your questions on other forums and may choose to help or not. Unfortunately most of them will either ignore you or try to mislead you to benefit themselves. I’ve seen it happen many times before. But I’ve helped about 100 or so people in the last few months just by reading posts like this and if you have a particular question about a bills value, feel free to email me with photos of what you are asking about and what exactly you would like to know. I can help with anything from U.S Currency, including coins, help you identify any coin errors and varieties as well as key dates and more. There’s just not enough people who genuinely want to help and that really upsets me because I was raised differently. My grandfather taught me everything I know and along with the knowledge he provided he also told me I have to give it away to keep it, so I’ve been trying to help as many people as I can, and will continue to do so. I’ve had so many people mad at me for providing the truth in situations where they were trying to scam someone and I really don’t care because that’s not what this community is about nor is it something we tolerate. Never use ebay, Craigslist, Mercari, etsy, offer up, or anything like that to try to find the value of something. I say that because there’s so many people who don’t know what they’re talking about and advertising items that aren’t actually worth anything. They find a coin in their pocket with some damage on it and think it’s an error, or find a coin that looks like a major strike through happened when really its just a coin that sat in a cup holder and obtained damage from soda acid etc. What I’m getting at is people are falsely advertising even though they don’t realize it. Like last week I had someone try to sell me a 2015 double die….( now the first mistake is, the proper term is, doubled die. Any time you see someone say “double die” chances are they are clueless and shouldn’t be selling anything). The guy wanted 250.00 for it, because the date was in fact doubled, he just didn’t know that what he had was called machine doubling, which is really common among coins. I wasn’t going to keep arguing with him and just told him to do more research before selling anything else because it’s people like that who are running our community and hurting business.
So what better way to fix it than to offer professional level advice and help for free to help those who really want to learn more. That way I know the people I help will pass along the information I gave them and the chain keeps going.
Sorry for the long response but, not only is this the longest response I’ve ever posted, it’s also one of the most detailed, if anyone else read all of this and is interested in either learning more about the hobby or has any general questions feel free to email me directly

I have one A one dollar silver certificate * 91064126 A series 1957 A any idea of worth.
Silver Certificates are worth a bit of money but your is probably about $15-$30 and depending on the condition it can very. Since it’s a star note that adds value. If it was an older date it would definitely be worth a lot.

Email me directly in regards to your question, also please attach photos of both the front and back side of the bill. You can reach me at adams.jaylin0621@gmail.com
I saw all the comments on you question and had to help you, so yes it’s a rotator but it’s a soft rotator.
Your main value grabber is the fact that you have an 8 digit radar that’s 2 numbers off solid, and it’s also a bookend note. If you could send a couple of photos to my email I’d gladly take a look at it to give you a PPQ grade quality as well as a value idea.
You have a great find there and a lot of people miss certain things but that’s why I like to help. I’ve been a new mismatist for years and love helping my fellow community.
You can reach out to me at

Hey Amy, can you please email me some photos of the note in question. Include images of both the front and back of the bill and I can give you an idea of what to expect. If it’s in really good shape, I don’t want to put certain information out and advertise, shoot me an email with the photos of the bill included and in the subject line just put Currency Question or Something along those lines. But definitely hold onto it and keep it in as good of shape as you can.

Hey Thomas, in order to help you as best as possible, if you can tell me what condition the bill is in and possibly give an estimated grade using the link I’m providing you with. $2 star note JE09612637* 2009

Hi guys how are you all… I believe I have come across a very very rare $50 note…
The serial number is VG95920532 can any body pls give me a rough idea of what it could be worth.
Much appreciated
Ronnie.
Hey Ronnie, as far as going by the serial number alone, the only thing it contains is three pairs and unfortunately its not worth more than face value.
What series?
I have a $1 series 2017A and the serial number J15851555 and I was just wondering if it was worth anything and if I should hold onto it. I also have a star $1 note it’s a series 2013 and the serial number for it is L04403212*.
Sorry for the first bill the serial number is J15851555A
As for the star note you have, it’s not worth more than face value, the run total for that series was like 3.2 million total printed. Star notes become valuable in runs of 640,000 or less, unless it’s a fancy serial number. As for your other bill, yes it’s worth holding on to, it’s a trinary note, that contains 5 of a kind and ends with a triple, you just have to find the right collector.
I have a $1 bill series 2013 with Low serial number of ML00035804K being printed number 35,000 is it worth more than the dollar?
If you find the right collector absolutely, it’s a binary note, as well as a long repeater. You can compare asking advertised prices online and see prices range from, 55.00 to 500.00, and look at how long items have been listed at their current advertised price as well as how long its been advertised in general to double check to see if the seller has made price changes over time.
That’s where people get misled. Just because it’s listed at a certain amount doesn’t necessarily make it worth that amount. The condition is the most important considering factor the rest is easy to piece together from there.
I got a 1$ bill with this serial number G 59899895 C.. just would like to know if this 1 dollar banknote worth anything?
Yes, Hold onto that, that is a trinary as well as a radar note. I hope you held onto it, I just came across this site and it’s sad to see so many unanswered questions from people who really want to learn certain things. I’d be more than happy to help anyone who needs it any time I get the opportunity to.
Yes I held onto it and thank you for replying back. I have some coins too that I need an expert opinion and help.
Not a problem, I’m glad you were able to hold onto it as well as recieve the answers. If you’re looking to sell it just make sure you do a lot of research on the secondary market like eBay, mercari, and websites like that. Compare carefully and don’t let anyone mislead you with false information to try and get it cheaper.
What are the coins youre referring to and what exactly is it youre looking to know about them? Im not a licensed professional by any means but I have been in the currency community for about 15 years and have been collecting and dealing with coins, bills, and tokens for about 20 or so years. I’m always more than happy to help the next collector along their journey. So much has changed since I first got into the hobby, now so many people are only about themselves and dont want to help any more, so i always try to help if and when I can. If you want you can send pictures of your coins to my email and I can take a look at them. Hopefully this comment will post with my email in it. Just make sure to put Coin Questions or something like that in the email subject and attach any images you can provide. Im glad I could help you along your journey and look forward to hearing from you soon.

I HAVE A $1.00 BILL THAT HAS THE SERIAL NUMBER
F52452408D
IS IT WORTH HOLDING ON TO?
Yes, it is worth well more than a dollar. It is called a radar dollar or the first four digits of the serial number are the same in the opposite direction from the other side. Definitely look it up.
So I found a $1 bill today with the serial number F44389999D it’s from the Atlanta reserve is it worth anything it’s a 2 pair or 4 of a kind however you want to look at it.
$1.bills
I have a 1 dollar star note serial number L00437041 worth anything?
I found 2 notes B04386952* and B08358470* out of New York printed in Fort Worth are they worth any value ???
I have a 20.00 dollar bill with the serial number
PK28844553D
Is it worth anything??
I have a 10$ 2017A PG21355454A, is it worth any more than it’s face value?
If you got like 2 they worth 35
Not likely
I just found a 1.00 dollar bill serial no.00000995 is it worth anything?
I got a 20 dollar bill 2017 serial is NE00001312B
Depending on what year and the series it is.
Hold onto that its a low serial number, if you can provide me the year and series number along with the letter before the numbers as well as the ending letter, the number that’s in black ink printed 4 times, and if you look on the back of the bill, where one is written really big, look below the E to the right a little there will be another number there printed in green, if you can provide that information I can look up the full run and series information and give you a ballpark idea of what you have.
Hello Jerry B, any $ with low serial number a more hen it face value the more 0’s more value, , value keeps going up depending on the series and the condotion of the paper money anf if it has any printing erros. Yours is under 1,000 is 995 just 5 more for 1,000. right now you have a Solid low
triple digit
1 dollar bill 2013 L00014002K would it be worth anything
I have a 20$ NL00562065*2017 series.
20$PK94484848D 2017
1$B06818900*2013 (fw)
1$L09453433*2013
1$H00441460*2013
So one of the bank notes that you listed-1$B06818900*2013 (fw) – may be worth a decent bit. That one is potentially part of the duplicate serial number printing error that occurred between 2014 and 2016 when the Washington DC and Fort Worth printing facilities mistakenly printed identical star notes for the New York “B” district. While a single bank note generally isn’t super valuable, having both notes in a pair (or finding someone who has the match) could have a pretty high payout.
Nice thank you. I heard there was a list of some sort that had people that are trying to match them would u know anything about that
Yes it’s called project 2013b, here’s a link to the direct website, good luck and nice find. I hope it works out, definitely let me know either way.

I have a star note blue seal certificate from 1957a
Serial number * 03786826 A and it is in pretty good condition considering it’s age no tares or rips but some crinkles how much is this bill worth?
I have 4 sets of duplicate 2017 $1 star bank notes all in succession. (8 bills total) Serial numbers start with a K. Isn’t duplicates not suppose to happen? Are these rare?
Post some pic’s
They could be worth small fortune
Those should be worth quite Abit if you haven’t already gotten rid of em
If that is the case post detailed photos, or take them to your local coin shop. There’s also the coinhelpu community that Daniel runs aside from his YouTube channel. You could have one of 2 things, either a decent find, or counterfeit.
1929 $20 national currency bill that a trinary F000607A, WONDERING WHAT IS IT WORTH?
They range anywhere between 50 to 300 in value, depending on condition
Hello, I have a $20 dollar bill, 1934 J40671029A. Not in Great Condition. Is it worth anything more than $20
Probably not more than face value because Very Fine grades go for about $25 to $30.

Yes if you find the right collector, it’s a trinary note with 6 of a kind. If it’s in good condition compare it with like samples online to give you a better idea of what you have.

I have a 100 dollar bill with LA 06271929 A 2009 * serial number is it worth anything
The only one really noteworthy is the $100 bill. It’s a star note and a birthday note for June, 27th of 1929, you just have to find a buyer that considers that a special date, and that can take time but definitely worth holding onto.
I’ve got a 2013 series $1 bill serial #L25555550J that’s in very good condition

Will it has two different numbers on this one dollar bill it has the 4 serial numbers and more
$5 PE 22242224 A 2017A is it worth anything special.
It’s not particularly rare but some collectors may need it to complete a collection id say it would be worth about $5-$10 more than face value depending on condition. So after fees for selling on eBay your looking at no profit . Better to just keep it for yourself as a cool piece to show to your friends that are into collecting currency.
I say yes
If you find the right collector absolutely, it’s a binary note, as well as a long repeater. You can compare asking advertised prices online and see prices range from, 55.00 to 500.00, and look at how long items have been listed at their current advertised price as well as how long its been advertised in general to double check to see if the seller has made price changes over time.
That’s where people get misled. Just because it’s listed at a certain amount doesn’t necessarily make it worth that amount. The condition is the most important considering factor the rest is easy to piece together from there.
Worth asking, but I have a $1 Bill and here are the details: Mostly on the right side of the serial numbers, the 8 is over inked and the 7 is high. It’s a 2017 series. No other mistakes I can see on it, so just wondering.
Not really worth more than face value
I have a 10.00 bill serial number MB 33333399 D would it be worth anything?

I have a $1 star note
Serial # B06396384*
2013 Series
I can give some info about it hobby
Needs to be 2013 year (series) and if it is go to (2013 B project) enlist them on there and they’ll get a hold of you if there’s a duplicate.
In 2013 a couple sets of star notes were printed in fort Worth Texas and something like 4 years later the same ones were printed in Washington making them duplicate serial numbers if you can find a match extremely valuable The site will tell you about how it happened and how to list them on their site so they can get a hold of you if they find a match
Wondering if they have the same series date(print date) on them ?
I have a $20 bank note decent condition small tare in bottom under the ‘w’ in the word twenty and small pink marker spot on top left corner above the ‘0’ in 20 it’s a 2013 series has serial # ME88009861H by Richmond District serial checker says it’s a
“Soft Rotator” ranking 46/52. Was wondering the price value and if its more then face value?
20$
A12319470 A 1953 2 dollar bill
Hi Sharon! That serial number is a birthday note 12319470 (Dec 24, 9470) but since it’s a tad over 9 thousand years away, you might get $2 bucks for it? And that’s a hard might. If it were mine Sharon, it’s worth more in my collection than the $1.50 to $2 someone might pay for it.
Vinnie was right about you having a birthday note but not even close to what the date represents, your bill 123119470 represents December, 31st, 1947. Definitely worth more than face value you just need to find the right collector.
I have a $100 bill Serial MF 20082008 E 2013 series, any idea what it could be worth?

This is called All unique digots
Thank you
It’s also a broken ladder
No, broken ladders require only 1 digit to be out of order. 47326589 is just a jumble, whereas something like 12345687 would be a broken ladder

I have a 100 dollar bill with serial # LB666660066L what is its value

If anyone has a birthday serial number note for [10/04/2001] or [10/01/1986] and are willing to part with them please contact me
I have one that’s pretty close to the first birthdate serial number that you had requested and that you hope to acquire. However it’s not a “True” Birthdate serial number because the numbers aren’t quite arranged in orderly fashion, as said specifications require as necessary in which to be considered a “true” birthdate fancy serial number. It does, however, equate to a rating of 98% Coolness Factor. So, either way, the particular banknote in question still has value, regardless of it being considered a “true” birthdate serial number, or not. Its denomination is $20. Its series is year 2017. And, its serial number reads as follows: NF 10200142 B. It’s in fairly decent condition and has only one fold in the center/middle of said note. Let me know if you have any interest still and we can go from there. I can send pics too when I receive a response from you pertaining to this very matter. My name is Dave and my email address is dtrimbach1982@gmail.com. Thanks much!
Hey just so your aware some of the bills that people type in are for printing errors as well. The 5 1 dollar bills I am checking all got low scores cause it didn’t take into account that some numbers are blotchy and double stamped and then other numbers or letters are in higher or lower positions which is another type of printing error. I know from checking them online that alot of them go between $7 and $30 depending. It’s one of those that no one ever looks for. Anyway have a great day.

Currently have a $100 bank note (B-B) block with the number 33114422. Series 1985 in meh condition. Has a fold horizontally and vertical through the design, some soiling through circulation, and possibly a marker in the top backside corner. Any worth in it?
I have a 5 dollar bill with 50022500 serial number is it worth anything. Or where can I check it at.
I have a $20 NG22262662A series 2017. Is it worth more than face value or does it need to be a true binary?
A full 8-Digit binary serial type would definitely increase the sale appeal, the most important factor for value will be the condition of the note though.
If collecting for yourself it’s good to put away until a better serial type or better condition note is found to replace, and if looking to sell I’d personally auction via ebay (just make sure to adjust the starting price to include fees + face value)
I have a 2009 $20.00 star note.The serial # JL 02524052 * adds up to 20.Does that make it more valuable ?
Hello!
I have a $1 bill that has the serial number (L11122216S) 2013 series.
Its rates a 98.6 very cool- on a few other websites with a similar note checker but this one says it’s a common one?
Hi Zachary,
This checker looks for serial types with certain collectable patterns, The lower the chances of that pattern occuring would generally increase the value of the note.
The serial # you’ve added above would not be considered to have a special serial type, although you’ve mentioned a 98.6 cool rating, in my opinion it’s very unlikely that serial would appeal for a premium over another of the same series.

This page above shows the special types used in this tool and their stats, hope this helps, thanks
